Hey everyone I am about one week through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with convert a mixed number to a decemal. Could somebody out there please give me some advice with absolute values, graphing circles and fractional exponents. I can’t afford to look for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of getting better with topics like function definition or solving inequalities effectively, please reply to my post Thanks

tutors are no better than attending your daily classes. If you have a problem , you need to makes an effort to get rid of it. I would not suggest extra classes , but would ask you to try Algebrator. It will surely solve your problem concerning convert a mixed number to a decemal to a large extent.

I discovered a a few software programs that are pertinent . I tried them out. The Algebrator appeared to be the most suitable one for graphing lines, radical expressions and sum of cubes. It was also effortless to operate . It took me step by step towards the solution rather than only giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to solve the problems too. By the time I was done with it , I had learnt how to work out the problems. I found them handy with Remedial Algebra, Pre Algebra and Algebra 2 which aided me in my math classes. May be, this is just what you are looking for. Why not try this out?
