Posted: Saturday 12th of Jun 08:27 Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor , because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I spend hours and hours with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's so expensive , and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about partial sum solution problems that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding syntehtic division, multiplying fractions or equivalent fractions? Any suggestions will be valued.

I however would warn you not to just copy the solutions from the software. It will not help you in understanding the subject. Use it as a reference and solve the problems yourself as well.

Posted: Sunday 13th of Jun 15:17 I remember having problems with hypotenuse-leg similarity, factoring polynomials and subtracting fractions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
