You really shouldn’t have wasted money on a math tutor. Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . In order to make sure that you do well in your exams I would suggest using Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the toughest problems for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how it did so! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding gcf, decimals and least common measure. But thanks to Algebrator, it’s all good now .

I agree, websites on the internet are no better than the course books. Algebrator is a good way to start your math career.

Thanks for the detailed instructions, this sounds great . I wanted something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can actually show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ?

I suggest trying out Algebrator. It not only helps you with your math problems, but also provides all the necessary steps in detail so that you can improve the understanding of the subject.
