algebra and trigonometry- structure and method book 2 ( homework help)

Hi! Our class just started discussing a new chapter in algebra about algebra and trigonometry- structure and method book 2 ( homework help) and I did pretty well for most homeworks we got but the latest one my teacher gave complicated so I'd love if somebody will assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t answer it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had no trouble doing my past assignments but this particular homework with specific topic of inequalities just gives me a hard time just figuring out how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in showing the steps and how to answer it in a systematic and clear way.

The perspective you’ve adopted towards the algebra and trigonometry- structure and method book 2 ( homework help) is not the a good one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a situation. Its nice that you still want to try. My key to easy problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.
