Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a math tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as simplify linear equations and midpoint of a line. Now that instructor turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I used to be. I still can’t crack problems on those topics. And the exam time is fast approaching . I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a good set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much effort I put in. Please help!

Sounds like your concepts are not clear . Excelling in simplify linear equations requires that your concepts be concrete. I know students who actually start tutoring juniors in their first year. Why don’t you try Algebrator? I am pretty sure, this program will aid you.

Algebrator really is a great piece of math software. I remember having problems with quadratic formula, roots and equivalent fractions. By typing in the problem from workbook and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the algebra problem. It has been of great help through several College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I seriously recommend the program.
