I have been in your place a few years agowhen I was learning is there a difference between solving a system of equations by the algebraic method and the graphical method . What part of conversion of units and triangle similarity poses more problems? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good program to help you understand the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever try a program like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the solutions.

I remember having difficulties with converting decimals, radical equations and multiplying fractions. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
