flash : Algebrator 4.0 just released!
Algebrator is a
software package that can solve user-entered problems in
the following areas of algebra (pre-algebra to College algebra):

simplification of algebraic
expressions (operations with polynomials (simplifying,
degree, synthetic and  long division  ...), exponential expressions , fractions and roots (radicals) , absolute values)
- factoring and expanding expressions
- finding LCM and GCF
- operations with complex numbers
(simplifying, rationalizing complex denominators...)
- solving linear, quadratic and many other equations
and inequalities (including
basic logarithmic and exponential equations)
- solving a system of two and three linear equations
(including Cramer's rule)
- graphing curves (lines, parabolas, hyperbolas,
circles, ellipses, equation and inequality solutions)
- graphing general functions
- operations with functions (composition, inverse,
range, domain...)
- simplifying logarithms
- basic geometry and trigonometry
(similarity, calculating trig functions, right triangle...)
- arithmetic and other pre-algebra topics
(ratios, proportions, measurements...)
- Now supporting linear algebra (addition, subtraction and multiplication of matrices, matrix inverse, determinants)
What Algebrator IS NOT:
- it is not a subscription
- it is not a tutoring service
- it is not web-based
- it does not have a 'license' that has to be renewed (it's
yours forever)
- it is not tied to any particular algebra book (because it
solves problems from every book)
Algebrator is simply a software program that you download
and install on your PC, which you can then use for as long as
you need to.
