Hello guys I’m really stuck on strategies for teaching multiplying and dividing integers and would sure desperately need guidance to get me started with trinomials, adding numerators and algebraic signs. My homework is due soon. I have even thought of hiring a tutor, but they are not cheap. So any guidance would be very much treasured.

Hi, just a month ago, I was stuck in a similar scenario. I had even considered the option of dropping math and selecting some other subject. A colleague of mine told me to give one last try and gave me a copy of Algebrator . I was at comfort with it within an hour. My grades have really improved within the last year.

Thanks for the detailed information, this sounds great. I wished for something just like Algebrator , because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?

I remember having difficulties with scientific notation, function composition and system of equations. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
