Hi math wizards! I require some guidance to work out this how to simplify algebraic expressions in a graphic calculator which I’m unable to do on my own. My test on math is due and I need assistance to work on multiplying fractions, solving a triangle and perpendicular lines . I’m also thinking of hiring a math tutor but they are very costly. So I would be greatly appreciative if you can extend some assistance in solving the problem.

That’s exactly the kind of problem I had faced. Can you elaborate a some more on what your problems are with how to simplify algebraic expressions in a graphic calculator ? Yes. Getting an reasonably priced tutor suitable to your needs is pretty easier said than done now-a-days. But even I went on to do almost everything that you are doing now. But then, my hunt ended when I found out that there are a number of software in math. They are inexpensive. I was really overjoyed with it. May be this is just what suits you. What do you think about this?

Algebrator beyond doubt is a great piece of math software. I remember having difficulties with logarithms, algebra formulas and simplifying expressions. By typing in the problem from workbook and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the algebra problem. It has been of great help through several Algebra 2, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1. I seriously recommend the program.

I have tried a number of math related software. I would not name them here, but they were of no use. I hope this one is not like the others.

Thanks dudes for all your help. I have bought the Algebrator from http://www.softmath.com/about-algebra-help.html. Just got it set and started using it. Its superb. The exercise problems can test the real knowledge that we have on Intermediate algebra. I am really grateful to you all!

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with interval notation, mixed numbers and interval notation. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
