Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor , because I've been having a lot of stress due to math homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I waste all the afternoon with my math homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain if a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's really expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about linear algebra application in our life that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding decimals,proportions or syntehtic division? Any suggestions will be much appreciated .

I have also used Algebrator quite a few times to solve algebra problems . I must say that it has greatly enhanced my problem solving power . You should give it a try and see if it helps.

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire someone to tutor me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a mall? Do they have a webpage so that I can see more details regarding the software?

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and College Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with complex fractions, graphing and difference of squares. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
