I have a number of problems based on evaluation vs simplification of expression I have tried a lot to solve them myself but in vain. Our teacher has asked us to solve them out ourselves and then present them to the entire class. I reckon that I will be chosen to do so. Please help me!

I remember having problems with roots, subtracting fractions and perpendicular lines. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software.
