Hi math lovers , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us doing our homework,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can aid me with algebra ? I have never tried one before , but they shouldn't be hard to use I assume. If anyone tried such a software , I would really appreciate some more information about it. I'm in Remedial Algebra now, so I've been studying things like past higher math spractice papers online and it's not easy at all.

I possibly could help you if you can be more specific and give more details about past higher math spractice papers online. A good computer program would be best option rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found . It solves any math problem that you may want solved. It also clarifies all the steps (of the solution). You can just write it down as your homework . However, you should use it to learn math , and simply not use it to copy answers.

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the best tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to copy .

I remember having problems with long division, function domain and radical inequalities. Algebrator is a really great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, Algebra 2 and Algebra 1. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
