how to solve simple linear equations in excel

I have a test tomorrow afternoon. But I’m stuck with questions based on how to solve simple linear equations in excel . I’m facing problems understanding factoring polynomials and leading coefficient because I just can’t seem to figure out a way to solve problems based on them. I called my friends and I tried on the internet, but none of those activities helped. I’m still trying but the time is short and I can’t seem to get a hang of it. Can somebody please help me? I really need some help from you guys for tomorrows test. Please do reply.
