Hi All, I am in need of assistance on long division, solving a triangle, converting decimals and hypotenuse-leg similarity. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to understand the bedrocks of Algebra 2 completely. Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can start learning the basics? I have a midterm next week.

Algebrator is one of the most powerful resources that can render a helping hand to a person like you. When I was a novice, I took aid from Algebrator . Algebrator offers all the principles of Remedial Algebra. Rather than using the Algebrator as a line-by-line tutor to solve all your homework assignments, you can use it as a tutor that can give the basics of mixed numbers, rational equations and fractional exponents. Once you get into the principles, you can go ahead and solve any tough assignments on Algebra 2 in no time.

I must agree that Algebrator is a cool thing and the best program of this kind you can get. I was astonished when after weeks of frustration I simply typed in radicals and that was the end of my difficulties with math. It's also so good that you can use the software for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Algebra 1 and in Algebra 2 as well! Just try it and see it for yourself!

I remember having often faced problems with decimals, geometry and side-angle-side similarity. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Pre Algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
